ValueVision was originally founded in June 1990 and began broadcasting in 1991. In 2000, NBCUniversal (NBCU) purchased a share of the company and entered into an initial 10-year agreement to license the ShopNBC name. On May 23, 2013, ValueVision Media made the official announcement of its intent to rebrand to ShopHQ over the course of the fiscal year. |
